Grant Information
The Crime Prevention Foundation of Brown County is accepting applications for grants that fund local crime prevention programs. Grant applicants must submit requests for programs or projects that aim to reduce or eliminate at least one of the three elements of the crime triangle: the desire to commit the crime, ability to commit the crime or opportunity to commit the crime. Organizations that have received grants in the past can be found under the “Funded Programs” tab.
Qualified applicants include non-profit organizations, government agencies, schools, and school districts operating in Brown County. Grants will not be awarded to individuals. Grant funds should not be used to supplant funds from the organization’s operating budget. Applications are reviewed once a year and are due to the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation by 5:00 pm on June 15, 2012. Grant recipients will be notified in September and awarded their grants at the annual Crime Prevention Foundation Luncheon.
